The Bloodletting Continues

If you’ve been paying attention to one of our second favorite sites on the internet about now you’ll note that we have a few more entries to the Judicial Council Watcher hall of fame. We also have a bunch of really sharp judges that can analyze the evidence for themselves and that see what is really going on with this comment period and have blasted that too!

Oh my! So much juicy goodness – we just don’t know where to start!

  • How about (reading from the top down) The Honorable Thomas C Falls whose astute observations deserve a standing ovation.
  • Or this tidbit from Commissioner Robert McSorley? Although the friendship with Ernesto Fuentes sounds a little sketchy to us, he was a next door neighbor after all…. his comments are a grand slam.
  • OMG!!! Judge Lance Ito! Go! Go! Go! (Where is this man’s cheerleading section?)
  • Or a very simple email from Judge Robert J. Perry  that starts off with this quote “No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.”-Ronald Reagan
  • Or Retired Judge Laura Hamms? My, the comments in this latest round are smokin’!
  • Judge Sidney Chapin also says it like it is.
  • Judge Suzanne Kingsbury – the first (and hopefully not the only) SEC member whose clarity and additional comments are appreciated.
  • Judge Marianne Gilliard is always a favorite for saying it like it is too. Read these comments and take the opportunity to write some of your own!
  • Judge Linda Lefkowitz discusses the risks of an impending assembly line of justice
  • Justice Elizabeth Grimes carefully places the responsibility squarely where it belongs and suggests some leadership is in order.
As more come forward, more develop the courage to come forward and the bloodletting is getting quite a bit more graphic. Then again if you give a judge a month to produce an opinion, don’t be surprised if it comes down on you like a supreme court decision not in your favor.

We’re delighted! How about you?
.
Only a member of the lunatic fringe would write in opposition to these voices of democracy.
