Position:  Senior Network Consultant

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12 Months plus.

Client: AOC (Administrative office of the courts)


Mandatory Skills (as per solicitation):
  • ·         Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Information Technology
  • ·         Minimum of 7 years experience with network infrastructure, security architecture and application system deployment projects
  • ·         Minimum of 3 years experience with government IT projects (Local, State, or Federal)
  • ·         Experience working on multiple simultaneous IT projects throughout the entire life cycle from design to deployment
  • ·         Prior experience with tier 3 data center environments
  • ·         Possess knowledge of enterprise network infrastructure design concepts such as
  • ·         Multi-tier design
  • ·         Client / server system architecture
  • ·         System security processes
  • ·         Data center technology infrastructure
  • ·         Web-based application deployment
  • ·         Multi-vender platform integration
  • ·         Telecommunication infrastructure
  • ·         Networking concepts: routing, switching, security, remote access, proxy


Possess extensive and detailed knowledge and experience with the following platforms and technologies:

  • ·         Cisco ASA firewalls
  • ·         Cisco routing and switching
  • ·         Cisco VPN
  • ·         Cisco IPS
  • ·         HIDS
  • ·         BGP routing
  • ·         Bluecoat proxies
  • ·         MPLS
  • ·         Manages intrusion detection services
  • ·         Datacenter class network infrastructure
  • ·         Experience with AT&T telecommunication services
  • ·         Excellent oral, written, analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead a technical discussion to both technical and non-technical staff
  • ·         Must demonstrate high level of technical writing experience – samples of relevant published work are highly desired such as technical implementation plans, architectural as-built documentation, test plans, scope of work, project summary sheets, high level network diagrams.
  • ·         Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including creating and presenting executive summaries to management and technical committees
  • ·         Excellent analytical, verbal and conflict resolution skills
