I think its best to strike public perception while the issue is hot and the judicial branch is embroiled in budget negotiations so that our legislature and Governor can target this specific program rather than a general cut to all trial courts.
Oh. And vote in the polls too as it appears that the only people voting are minions of the death star.

FYI to all interested:
The Joint Legislative Audit Committee and the Assembly Budget Subcommittee will be holding a joint oversight hearing on the auditor’s findings and report on the Administrative Office of the Courts: The Statewide Case Management Project Faces Significant Challenges Due to Poor Project Management. Date, time, and place of the hearing: Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10:00 am in room 4202, State Capitol, Sacramento.
Rumor has it that Bill Vickrey and the AOC are not pleased about being summoned back before the JLAC and the Assembly Budget Subcommittee.

With yesterday spiking at some 13,000 reads (an all time high, thank you for your support) I couldn’t imagine these boys in denial would be walking away from this unscathed. I’m happy to hear it. Tomorrow I’ll make it a post after confirmation.

I imagine the response at hearing will be something along these lines: “We welcome the auditor’s report and have already implemented the suggested changes, except for one. You will notice that the auditor did not call for a halt to CCMS. We plan to forge ahead. And what are you going to do about it anyway? — You never gave us any money for CCMS! Seek you at the steakhouse. That’s where all the stake holders go!”
